Is there anyone who is interested in watching Most Haunted or any tv programs like that? Does anyone like Derek Acorah? I was just wondering if anyone on the zone is interested in that kind of thing and what do you all think?

I'm not a great fan of "most haunted". But I do like Derreck Acorah, especially when he used to be on the James Wale sho on radio, maybe he still is, I haven't listened for a while. I got to talk to him on one of the phone ins once. It was very interesting. I think he is a very genuine man.

I've only watched a few eppisodes of most haunted before. Other shows that I enjoy watching are A Haunting which comes on discovery channel, Creepy Canada, Ghostly Encounters, and Psychick Investigators.

I don't think Derek is on the James Whale show any more, but he has been doing a show for the last couple of years called Ghost Towns.

I got a free DVD series of Most Haunted. I think it's the most recent one. I used to watch it with my friends when I was at Loughborough Tech and we'd all meet in the main common room downstairs in the Stan Bell centre for the latest, freakiest installment of... Most Haunted! hehehehehee! We used to scare the shit out of ourselves for days and days afterwards as well, lol.

A show that I like to watch is called Ghost Hunters. It's about this team that goes to different places, both here in the US and internationally, to investigate paranormal activity. When they get to wherever they're going, they hear the story behind the place, and they get descriptions of what kinds of things have been reported. They then set up special cameras and recorders to try and catch visions and sounds. It's a very interesting show. Just a few days ago, I was watching an episode where they went to Ireland to investigate Leap Castle. That was one of the best episodes I've seen. They caught four voices on the recorders, and one of these voices was of a female, even though there weren't any female crew members at this particular investigation. It was so strange, but yet amazing at the same time. I felt sorry for whoever the woman was, though, because it sounded as if she was terrified of something. It sounded like she was crying and begging for help. Anyway, it's a really good show. My mom got me hooked on it. LOL.

I've also heard that they sometimes have shows like that on the radio really late at night. I don't know if they still do it, but they used to.

i used to like most haunted, and i was one of those that could be found in the stan bell centre common room, seeing how badly i could scare myself. Derrick does still do the james whale shows. i'm a fan of him too, though have heard lots of reports that he's a fake and an actor.

Well, people can say what they like, but I've been to see Derek at one of his live shows in Notingham when I was at Loughborough. I've also heard people say they think mediums are just acting for the tv or camera, but you can't act out being possessed by a spiret person. Fair enough, some noises that can be heard might be taken the wrong way and mistaken for spiret activities when they're only normal, or the other way round, but still ...

wow. i'd love to go to a live show. mmmmmm. that'd be fantastic.

It was a bit annoying because the peopoe in the row behind me were rustling their crisp packets or whatever and talking. It was interesting anyway.
